The new film Star Wars: The Force Awakens got some new posters. Not many people know about this movie, and there’s not much known about the history of this franchise, so these ambiguous character posters focusing on new and old characters leaves much to be desired. We kid of course, and all joking aside, these posters were shared on Facebook and Twitter by the official Star Wars account and the personal accounts of the featured cast members, most notably including Daisy Ridley and John Boyega.

First up is Kylo Ren, the villain of the forthcoming feature. Half of his face is obscured by his hilted lightsaber, and while I worry about the weapon being so close to his face, he does have a mask, on so it looks like he knows what he’s doing.

Next up is Rey, who is assumed to be a member of the Skywalker lineage. She has a weapon close to her face as well, but she thankfully doesn’t pose the possibility of burning it with a lightsaber. The staff looks to be composed from the hilts of several extant lightsabers, and I’ve heard those things can still pack a wallop.

Finn has a lightsaber close to his face as well, but he doesn’t have a mask to protect it, a la Kylo Ren. In the final feature trailer released ahead of the film, Finn looked scared to face off against the former Jon Snow wannabe. Be careful Finn!

Princess Leia doesn’t have a lightsaber here, but she does have galaxy maps of some kind surrounding her. Is she planning for war? Is it a power point presentation on why she’s the best? We’ll find out come December 2015.

Last up is Han Solo, who has his famous blaster covering half of his face. Hey, I think I found the theme of these posters: Two-Face. Harvey Dent has been confirmed for Star Wars: The Force Awakens! Again, we kid, but Han Solo does look pretty suave for a white guy, and Harrison Ford did have a cute interview with Jimmy Kimmel in a hot dog costume, which was almost as cool as the infamous character teased below.
