Today, 20th Century Fox released the first trailer for Murder on the Orient Express, the new film based on the novel of the same name by Agatha Christie. The film looks to be something like virtual mystery dinner event, with thirteen strangers on a train, each of whom is a suspect. And the cast is loaded with mostly enjoyable talent (Bonus mystery: figure out which actor I’m less than thrilled about in a cast that includes Penélope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Daisy Ridley and Josh Gad).
All indications suggest a fan-friendly whodunit, a puzzle meant to be solved by its audience. In fact, a website has already been set up for amateur detectives to begin their investigation now.
Murder on the Orient Express opens on November 10, and we’ll have more as it comes. For now, you can see the trailer and poster below.
Murder on the Orient Express will see theatrical release in the U.S. on November 10, 2017.
