With news coming out of E3 that Assassin’s Creed:Origins will be taking place in Ancient Egypt, and the recent release of the Tom Cruise-flavoured The Mummy, it seems like a mysterious fascination with Ancient Egypt is making a comeback. Critics and audiences alike are considering the recent Blockbuster a lackluster start, but could this just be the beginning of a renewed celebration of one of the most complex and interesting times in human history?
