In this week’s Weekly Clickables, we have a look at La La Land, new movie posters for old movies, sex scenes, and Transformers meets Boogie Nights.

  • First, The Hollywood Reporter put together a summary of its Women in Entertainment event, which includes some interesting thoughts from successful women in Hollywood and the media.
  • Rolling Stone looked at La La Land and its resurrection of the Hollywood musical.
  • Photographic artist Jordan Bolton has created posters for iconic movies using only select props and sets from those movies. The effect is like an inventory of a movie’s design that reminds you of moments you love and works like a puzzle as you try to recognize each item.
  • Filming a sex scene can be awkward, funny, exciting, full of rules, and subject to some interesting censorship double standards. Vulture has gotten, among others, Paul Feig, Park Chan-Wook, Paul Verhoeven, Mary Harron, and Catherine Hardwicke to talk about their experiences and the way they approach filming scenes that can very easily go wrong.
  • Finally, a trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight that will only make sense if you’ve seen Boogie Nights, courtesy of Bad Movie Drinking Game.

That’s it for this week, folks. Check back next Monday for more of the best movie stuff from the rest of the Internet!
