TRAILER OF THE WEEK
Disney has dropped an official teaser trailer for the upcoming Pete’s Dragon and it looks wistfully simple. Robert Redford and Bryce Dallas Howard discuss a boy who grew up in the forest for six years. But how could anyone, especially a child, survive by themselves for six years? The answer: a dragon helped raise the boy. If word travels as fast as Redford’s character implies in the trailer, this news is sure to make quick waves. A touch of childlike wonder briskly passes through the trailer. With any luck, director David Lowery (Ain’t Them Bodies Saints) has crafted something truly wonderful here.
